Transforming Memories Into Art

Welcome to Photos by Randy, a journey woven through the lens of passion and professionalism in the world of photography. My story begins 34 years ago, when at the age of 28, I embarked on a transformative journey into photography from the heart of Indiana. This journey was catalyzed by formal education at the prestigious New York Institute of Photography, which laid the foundational stones for my career.

The real turning point came when, through a serendipitous connection, I was presented with an opportunity to work alongside one of the industry’s luminaries—a photographer whose accolades and expertise were renowned across a tri-state area. Under his mentorship, I honed my skills and artistry over nine years, during which we achieved remarkable milestones including over 400 weddings, securing three school photography contracts, and mastering both on-site photography and a myriad of studio portraits.

As I took on more responsibilities, including the intricate task of copy work—revitalizing older or damaged photographs to their former glory—I also began to spearhead wedding and school photography projects. Following my mentor’s retirement, I embraced the challenge of continuing our shared legacy, expanding into areas that resonated personally with me, such as pet photography. This expansion has not only been a source of immense joy but has also led me to capture over 100 weddings independently.

Recently, I have ventured into the captivating realm of drone photography, adding a new dimension to my portfolio. While I approach my work with the utmost professionalism, at its core, photography remains my unwavering passion. Now, as I lay down roots in Arizona, I am eager to explore new horizons, capture breathtaking moments, and connect with new faces.
